Taxis and taxi drivers in Hong Kong are basically the subject of a book or a movie. There are racers in black leather gloves, there are silent guys with tinted glasses - who resemble triad murderers, there are cheerful singers, there are talkers who know English and there are those who only speak Cantonese. It's worth taking a taxi ride at night and seeing the city come to life after 6 p.m.
